    Responsibilities

    Your role after training:

    • Independently grow your carrier base to a level that allows for consistent coverage of our customers shipments.
    • Prospect/Search for carriers while you cover shipments, build relationships and broaden your carrier network by adding carriers to your portfolio each week. You will be on the phone a lot.
    • Manage your carrier relationships daily, you must know your daily contacts, their preferred lanes and their fleet characteristics.
    • Tracking and tracing all of your shipments is a daily function, communication is a top KPI that you will be managed on.
    • Need to have business development skills to identify, qualify, obtain and develop carrier relationships.
    • Understand current market conditions and business trends identifying any and all opportunities to grow margins

    Qualifications

    Essentials for Success:

    • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
    • Industry experience strongly preferred, but not required
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Self-motivated with positive attitude
    • Willingness to get on the phone and be on the phone a lot.
